As the 7 weeks of Summer Holidays begin, many parents will be wanting to ensure children continue to use and apply their reading, writing and mathematics skills. This is especially important this year with the children missing out on so much face to face teaching time. To help with this we have provided a set of learning tasks below. Parents can use these tasks to provide a structured series of tasks based around reading, writing, phonics or spelling and topic work. You can work through them systematically or move between them, including making use of resources from other year groups to provide tasks that are easier or harder. The tasks are fun, varied and based around key themes.
